What is Canva?

Canva is an online editing website that is free and easy to use! You can access Canva in your web browser (on a computer or laptop) or via the Canva app (on a phone or tablet).

Please Note: You MUST have Wi-Fi or internet access in order to edit and use Canva templates.

Do I Need Canva Pro to Access my Templates?

No! Although you can sign up for Canva Pro, it is not necessary. A free Canva account will give you access to all of your templates!

How Do I Access my Canva Template?

  1. Type in "YES" to agree to the terms and place your order.
  2. You will receive an email within a few minutes of purchase including a PDF file with clickable links to your Canva template. 
  3. Don't worry if you don't already have a Canva account, it's FREE to create!
  4. Edit and customize your template. Then save, download, & print!

EDITING TEMPLATES

What Can I Edit?

You can edit the text, font styles, wording, placement, colors, and add images or insert Canva's elements + photos. You can also add, duplicate, and remove pages and rearrange the page order. Please note that some templates may have an image or text that cannot be edited - read each template product thoroughly!

Unfortunately, Canva does not allow you to change the layout size (unless you have the Canva Pro account). However, you can create a new design with the changed measurements and copy/paste your work there!

What Format Should I Download In Canva?

  • JPG: Best for sharing or local printing shops.
  • PNG: Best for image, email, or social media sharing.
  • PDF Standard: Best for documents, email or social media sharing. 
  • PDF Print: Best for at-home printing, local printing shops, or online printing services.

Can You Edit For Me?

Unfortunately we do not offer personalization. All of the Canva templates are DIY, so you will need a device to edit the templates yourself!

Canva makes it easy to edit, customize, and print templates on your own - I can't reiterate enough how amazing Canva is!

PRINTING

How Do I Print My Template?

All templates can be printed from home, locally, or via an online service such as Canva or Vistaprint. All offer high quality printing with a variety of paper materials + sizes.

Please ensure your at-home printer is capable of printing the preferred quality of paper you require.

Also be sure to check the size requirements before printing your template as some may request you to add the bleed option to your design before uploading.

What Paper + Material Do You Recommend For Printing?

I always recommend to print on high-quality cardstock paper (at least 300 gsm for best quality).

Canva's online printing services offers Premium, Deluxe, and Hemp paper in a Matte, Gloss, or Uncoated finish. 

Most at-home or local print shops will offer high-quality papers. Please ensure you check beforehand or do a test print before bulk printing! If you are unhappy with the quality of your at-home print, we recommend to visit a local print shop for best results. We do not take responsibility for the quality of your print.

REFUNDS + CANCELLATIONS

What Is Your Refund Policy?

Due to our files being received digitally, we are unable to fulfill any refunds. All sales are final. We are unable to make adjustments if a discount code is not applied. Please thoroughly read each product description, product listing photos, and read the FAQ policy before purchasing to ensure editing online digital downloads and templates are the right fit for you!

The customer is responsible for typing their own text into the templates; this may include grammar, spelling and specific event information. We are not responsible for colors displaying differently due to the nature of different computer monitors, screens, printers and paper stocks or any errors/printing costs relating to any such errors.

What Are Your Terms of Use?

  • As all files are digital, and no physical products are shipped, digital downloads/templates are not eligible for refunds. Kindly message me to seek any clarification before you proceed with a purchase.
  • We are not responsible for any errors such as grammar, spelling, specific event information, colors displaying differently due to the nature of different computer monitors, screens, printers and paper stocks or any errors/printing costs relating to any such errors.
  • The purchase of a digital download/template is for one-time use only (unless otherwise stated in the item description). You can edit, save and download your template unlimited times for editing and proofing purposes only. 
  • The viewing, printing or downloading of any content, digital downloads or templates from Amy Makes That is solely for your own personal use. Creating multiple versions, republication, file sharing, distribution, and sale for commercial use of the digital downloads/templates, or of the printed work from them, are prohibited.
  • Amy Makes That reserves the right to revoke access to a digital download/template if the user fails to comply with the terms.
  • Please read each item description for additional information and extended Terms of Use.
